    What is Glass Shield?

Glass Shield easy clean glass protection is a factory applied invisible barrier made up of microscopic particles that bind themselves permanently to the glass surface. This enables the water to bead together and run off the glass therefore reduces the build-up of limescale and soap deposits.

    Back to Questions

How can I keep my enclosure dirt and limescale free?

Supplied with your product is a complimentary bottle of maintainer which can be applied daily/weekly to your enclosure (dependant on use). Also enclosed is a glass wiper blade which should be used after every shower to enable you to remove any residual water from the glass.

Showerlux also offer Showerclean which can be used in addition to the above process (monthly depending on the hardness of water in your area) to keep your enclosure limescale free.

Extra care should be used when using alternative cleaning products you should ensure that the product does not contain silicone as this will reduce the effects of the glass shield coating.

Under no circumstances should you use an abrasive cleaning pad or agent as this will damage the Glass Shield coating.

Glass Shield After Care and Service Packs can be ordered from our after sales support by either completing the order form enclosed with your product or alternatively by downloading and Glass Shield After Care order form.
