Showerlux creates bespoke enclosure for a princess

Showerlux creates bespoke enclosure for a princess 29 Aug 2008

Showerlux UK has been specified to install bespoke shower enclosures on a luxury private 25m Princess Yacht.  Now successfully complete, the job is a perfect example of the capabilites of the Showerlux made to measure team.

The brief given to Showerlux asked for enclosures to be specially designed and installed into the four on board high spec bathrooms.

Nick Barton, Bespoke Services Manager comments: "When the brief came in it was certainly different to any job we had previously been involved in but we quickly rose to the challenge.  The bathrooms all required a different solution, the only similarity being that space was at a premium."

"An overbath enclosure with two pivot doors was fitted in the master bathroom allowing the bath to double up as a watertight enclosure.  In the guest cabin the individual panels of the enclosure had to be intricately designed to fit around the split-level floor.  The remaining two bathrooms were fitted with bespoke bi-fold doors that maximized on the space available."

"The end result complemented the luxuriousness of the yacht whilst being practical with regards to space saving and safety at sea."

The made to measure team works from Showerlux head office in Coventry.  Bespoke enclosures and wet room panels from the Designa range account for 80% of projects with the other ranges in the Showerlux portfolio for projects such as this.
