To register your guarantee takes only a few minutes, simply complete the required information either on-line here or via completing the guarantee card given to you at time of purchase. Which ever way you choose to register your guarantee please ensure you retain the guarantee card for your references.

10 YEAR GUARANTEE EXCLUSIONS AND NOTES


TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Upon receipt of your Showerlux guarantee registration card, Showerlux UK Ltd will provide up to a 10 year guarantee on the goods purchased in accordance with the terms and conditions set out below. All products unless stated in the relevant exclusions section are covered by a full 10 year guarantee.

1. The Showerlux guarantee card must have the mandatory details completed and be received by Showerlux within 30 days of the original purchase of the goods.

2. The guarantee expires 10 calendar years from the original date of purchase of the goods purchased.

3. Showerlux UK Ltd will at their discretion repair, replace or refund the purchase price of any product which becomes defective during the guarantee period, that is not excluded in Clause 5.

4. If a claim is made under this guarantee, and the defect is not due to faulty materials or manufacture, Showerlux reserves the right to charge the customer at the current rate and list prices in respect of any service fitters time or replacement parts.

5. Showerlux UK Ltd. is not liable for;

a) Any defect in the goods which results from fair wear and tear, limescale build-up, incorrect installation, accidental damage, wilful act of neglect, failure to operate the goods in accordance with the instructions provided, the use of abrasive cleaners or failure to follow the cleaning instructions accompanying the goods.

b) Compensation for loss of use of the goods and consequential loss of any kind.

c) Any labour costs not firstly authorised by Showerlux UK Ltd.

6. The guarantee does not cover glass breakage or the glass shield coating. The characteristics of glass are such that potentially it can shatter; therefore, Showerlux UK use only toughened safety glass that complies to BS EN 12150 or an equivalent for curved glass.

7. The Showerlux Guarantee is invalidated with immediate effect if;

a) The goods purchased are not correctly installed in accordance with Showerlux installation instructions provided.

b) The goods are altered or modified in any form.

c) Any product repaired or modified by any person not authorised by Showerlux will be void from this guarantee.

8. Any returned or replaced goods/parts will become the property of Showerlux UK Ltd.

9. The guarantee is limited to the original purchaser and is not transferable to any third party (This does not include new build developments which allows transfer from builder to purchaser).

10. The guarantee is only valid if the product is installed within a domestic situation in Great Britain and Ireland.

11. Showerlux UK Ltd reserves the right to replace the defective goods with a similar part or similar goods in current production, provided that such a replacement part or goods are of the same or similar quality and value.

12. The guarantee is not applicable to products purchased ex-showroom display.

13. The term and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Guarantee Exlusion Notes

Pure Showering

Shower Valves

The SLX products are covered by a 2 year guarantee - this overrides the Showerlux 10 year generic guarantee, but the same stipulations apply with the addition of the clauses below;

Any shower valve can be adversely affected by hard water, over which Showerlux UK Ltd have no control. Therefore the guarantee does not cover goods purchased which become defective due to hard water, unless the defect is caused by faulty materials or workmanship.

Showerlux is not liable for any damage caused by the build up of limescale or any other foreign body within the SLX thermostatic valve, which may result if the valve is not flushed through on installation. This includes damage caused by build up of limescale within the SLX handset or overhead deluge shower.

The effects of limescale are damaging, and limescale build up is dependant on the hardness of the water in your area and frequency of shower use.

The guarantee is invalidated with immediate effect if the SLX valve is not fitted in accordance with the local water regulations and bye laws.


Trays

All Showerlux trays are covered by a 2 year guarantee


Finishing Touches

The Finishing Touches range is covered by a 12 month guarantee.

Please ensure you consult your installer prior to contacting Showerlux, to ensure your product was installed correctly and in accordance with the installation instructions provided.
